2007 SUMMER season

JUNE 4 - JULY 26

(times and place subject to change)

Practice is the most important part of developing as a swimmer.  It is during practice time that your child learns from the coach and becomes a member of the team by developing friendships with the other swimmers.  The first 15 minutes of practice will be spent on deck stretching and communicating with the coaches.  We encourage all swimmers to come on time to every practice.  Practice on one day of the week is usually more relaxed and focused on games and team interaction.

Although practice is the most important part of swimming, everyone has emergencies and other obligations.  There are no penalties imposed for missing a practice.

What to bring to practice
Swimmers should bring their Y-cards, suits, towels, goggles and caps.  First year swimmers are encouraged to get used to wearing goggles and caps as they are necessary equipment.
